Snorkmaiden (Swedish: Snorkfröken, Finnish: Niiskuneiti)
Snorkmaiden is Moomintroll’s lady friend and Snork’s sister. She is happy and energetic. A daydreamer, she will from time to time fall in love with others, but always returns to Moomintroll in the end. She has also been described as flirtatious and very resourceful.

Snorks as a species differ slightly from
the Moomins. Instead of being white, they change colour
according to their mood. When upset, Snorkmaiden turns light green. Snorkmadien
always has her blonde hair combed and is seldom seen without her golden anklet.
Snorkmaiden is featured on many different
mugs with the rest of the Moomin family, as well as her own signature mugs.
