... the 2004 limited edition Fazer special mug
Only 400 numbered mugs were made in this extremely limited
edition production run. The mug contains a Fazer advertisement published in the
Garm magazine in 1951. The mugs are numbered on the bottom. Consider yourself
very lucky if you are the owner of one of these special mugs.

Since 2004 the mugs have slowly increased
in value to an astonishing 2500 euros just a few years ago. As I embarked on
creating this blog I researched the various values of all the Moomin mugs so
potential buyers would have a quick reference to see what the current price
points are. I was shocked to see that a Fazer special mug has sold recently for
5000 euros on huuto.net (Finnish auction site).

As more and more individuals begin their
Moomin mug collections, the demand for these rare mugs will only go up. Who
would have thought the Fazer special mug at 2500 euros just a few years ago
would have been such a great bargain :)
